We teach civilization’s greatest principles in civilization’s greatest places.

Retrace the footsteps of the Apostle Paul across the ancient cities of Asia Minor — the very soil where he launched his first, second, and third missionary journeys, where the Apostle John addressed seven struggling congregations by name, and where the assembled Church first hammered out doctrines of Christ and of Scripture.

No land on earth is more saturated with the New Testament than modern-day Turkey. This journey will lead Sojourners to encounter that world not as tourists, but as students of Scripture standing where the words were first lived out.

Sojourn with us!

“The [UBC 2026 sojourn] to Greece to trace the Apostle Paul’s 2nd missionary journey was one of the best things I have ever done. The sites we visited and the knowledge and information shared at those locations were deeply gratifying to me. I have a much better understanding of how the gospel was spread.” —Wayne Simpson

Itineraries

“From the communication aspect to overseeing the various sites, it was smooth, professional and flawless. I never felt anxious or like things weren’t being taken care of expertly. I want to go again, and will only go with Sojourn!” — Lisa Wygant

“From the very beginning, every detail was thoughtfully handled for us. Having things like travel, meals, accommodations, and even small comforts like extra pillows in our rooms taken care of completely allowed us to be fully present, without distraction, and to truly soak in the experience.” —Jen Moye

The Sojourn to Biblical/Classical Turkey Difference

Sojourning with us goes far beyond a standard biblical lands tour to provide a theologically informed, historically grounded understanding of how the Christian faith was planted, tested, articulated, and preserved across the world's most scripturally dense landscape.

By reading Paul's epistles and John's Revelation at the very sites to which they were written — and by standing in the ruins where the early church councils defined orthodoxy — Sojourners gain insights that deepen their reading of the New Testament for the rest of their lives.

“The Footsteps of Paul trip through Sojourn far exceeded my expectations. Not only was my spiritual growth even more significant than anticipated, I learned so much about the history of the area and how it impacted the spread of Christianity. To say the Bible became more real is an understatement — this trip will forever change how I read and visualize Paul’s and others’ books in the Bible.” —Jerad Barnett
