How much does the trip cost? And what does it include?

The DCMS to DC trip costs $1,225. This includes:

  • All lodging

    • 4 students per room

    • 2 adults per room

      • Private adult room available for an additional fee of $274.28.

  • All meals (except traveling breakfast one day 1)

  • All transportation via luxury motorcoach

  • All admission fees

  • Customized travel journal

  • Customized instruction from Sojourn guides

  • Sojourn swag

  • *Trip insurance is available for an additional fee.

How do I register?

In order to register for the DCMS to DC trip, please complete each of the following steps. Please note that your registration is NOT confirmed until you have completed each step.

  • Attend the Parent Informational Meeting on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. in the Student Life Center.

  • Turn in the DCMS Registration Packet to Mrs. Williams by March 12, 2026.

  • Register online with Sojourn and pay the first deposit by April 1, 2026.

  • Register TODAY. Seats are limited and after 50 registrants, we will implement a waitlist.

What forms of payment do you take?

We take the following payment methods:

  • Debit/credit cards online through the Sojourn registration website. You can also set up auto-pay at the time of registration.

  • Check made payable to “Good Comma Classroom”. Checks can be mailed to 169 Park Drive Xenia, OH 45385 or dropped off at the Dayton Christian Middle School Office. Please indicate the traveler name and “DCMS to DC 2026” in the memo line.

  • Cash payments can be mailed to 169 Park Drive Xenia, OH 45385 or dropped off at the Dayton Christian Middle School office. Please include a note indicating the traveler name and “DCMS to DC 2026”.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

We understand that life can be predictable which is why we highly encourage travelers to review the trip insurance options. Trip insurance is available for purchase when registering online.

All payments are non-refundable.

If a traveler cancels their registration with outstanding payments that are past due, he or she is still required to make up any payments that are owed at that time as we commit money toward the trip costs in good faith.
